You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Are you ready for a reset? We all go through times in our lives when we feel like we need to hit the restart button. Maybe we’ve been through a tough time and we just need to start over. Or maybe we’ve been living life on our own terms and God is calling us to live His way instead. No matter what has led you to this point, God is offering you the opportunity for a fresh start!
But how do we go about this reset and living a life that is pleasing to God? Today’s verse tells us to put off our old, corrupted selves and put on the new self that has been created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. This means getting rid of any negative or harmful behaviors and thoughts, and instead filling our minds with God’s truth and living out His principles.
This reset may not happen overnight, but as we surrender ourselves to God and seek His guidance, He will transform us into the person He created us to be. So, are you ready for a reset? Ask God to show you any areas of your life that need to be turned over to Him, and trust in His plan for your life. He will lead you on the path of righteousness, renewing and refreshing your mind and spirit every step of the way.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for Your constant love and forgiveness. Help me to continually surrender my life to You and to live in a way that is pleasing to You. Give me the strength and determination to put off my old self and put on the new self-created in Your image. Amen.
